Heels and Cobblestones

Heels, who doesn’t love heels. There are so many styles and colours to choose from. I saw some cute heels the other day and I manged to avoid buying them. Yes, you might call me crazy but living in Spain can convert anyone with a high heel obsession.

Now I have been known to be a little wobbly on heels but when you’re short, heels are a girls best friend. Getting the wobbles is one thing but cobbled streets and paths are another. I don’t know about you but these rustic paths are beautiful to look at but boy do they wreck your shoes. My favourite leather heels now have dents around the heel from the sharp pavers. Not happy!

As you can see I haven’t quite figured out how the young girls and women manage to walk in stiletto’s across the cobbled pathways. They move with ease and grace, well the majority of them. My standard saying is, I am sure they’re born in heels. Well that’s not far from the truth, I have seen girls as young as four wearing heels.

Whilst I can’t give up the idea of wearing heels I will have to buy shoes with a small heel. You can still look and feel feminine and avoid those embarrassing moments and steer clear of the sneakers.
