Hair Clipper Do’s and Dont’s
As tomorrow is H Day, Hair Day(or D Day) for my man I thought I should research the How To of Hair Clipping. I had a great evening watching videos and laughing at peoples unfortunate mishaps with a Hair Clipper. You might think that is mean, but if you’re going to put up photographs you should expect to be laughed at.
For all you newbies who are thinking of buying a Hair Clipper Set I suggest you do your homework first. This might make the difference between a good hair cut and a paper bag jobby.
So you might ask what have I learned from all of this, here is my list of helpful Do’s and Dont’s.
Dont’s:
1. Don’t cut wet hair as it can get caught in the blades.
2. Don’t attempt to cut hair with product in it, wash it first.
3. Don’t expect your first cut to be perfect, it takes practice.
Do’s:
4. Always cut hair when it is towel damp.
5. Google for info that’s what I did.
6. Read the manual that comes with the Hair Clippers, this poor Blogger didn’t. Sorry Jeff.
7. Remember to start with the largest blade first, you can’t glue the hair back.
8. Watch a few videos from YouTube or Truveo on How to Cut Hair with Clippers.
These Videos are very helpful and Casey from Expert Village gives some great tips on how to wield your Hair Clippers. Here is the first video from the series of How to Give a Hair Cut- Man’s Clipper Cut. I suggest you pop in for a look.
The intro can get on your nerves ooh after the first few videos, but that’s marketing for you.
Good luck and I hope Casey’s videos help.
