Buying a Hair Clipper

Last year we decided to buy our first Hair Clipper Set and it was a complete disaster. Yes it was cheap and not to mention nasty, it gave me a real scare when I switched it on. It was so loud and vibrated so much I swear it was a Hedge Trimmer for a Garden Gnome.

BTW it made it to the bin without touching a single hair on my man’s head. Gee I hate to think of the damage it could of caused. With this bad experience behind me it was time once again to buy a Hair Clipper Set.

Now I have always been a great believer that you shouldn’t pay over the odds for something unless you can justify it in some way. If you can get a lot of mileage out of it and it is well made than it is worth the price, well in reason.

Most of the time consumers are swayed by big brand names or even by the sales person, but we managed to escape. All we wanted was a general kit that was good quality and would do the job. If it lasted even a year, it would pay for itself several times over.

By shopping around we were able to find a Hair Clipper that was friendly on the purse and comfortable to handle. The set was perfect it had everything; Comb, Scissors, Oil, Cleaning Brush, Cutting Guides(1, 2, 4 & 5), Hair Clipper and the manual.

When we got it home I couldn’t help myself I had to switch it on and make sure it wasn’t another Hedge Trimmer. Thank goodness it’s a keeper I finally get to cut his hair, maybe tomorrow I need a coffee.
